Thunder defeat San Diego Enforcers 48-24 in their home and season opener.

The Phoenix Thunder started defending their 2010 NPSFL title with a big win over a very good San Diego team. In a match-up both organizations have been trying to set-up for a few years came to fruition Saturday as the Enforcers & Thunder squared off in Phoenix under beautiful blue skies. The Thunder's defense set the tone on the first possession forcing a punt. Phoenix's offense started quickly against a physical San Diego defense getting 14 points from their first 2 drives of the season. The remainder of the half saw the Thunder D controlling the line of scrimmage, giving great field position to the offense.
The Thunder's passing attack was made possible by the great work done by the offensive line and timely runs made by the running backs. As always the Thunder's defense proved to be the best unit on the field.

Next home game is April 30 against the FDNY Bravest @ PV High School @ 3pm. Come out and support your local public safety members!!!
